I read about what happened in Oklahoma recently where they tried to execute a man and basically did not do it in a merciful fashion.
I then read a blog tonight about someone who didn’t think that the death penalty was right. I wonder if he thought abortions were okay?
I find it upsetting that so many in society consider it okay to snuff an innocent unborn child’s life out but have no problem throwing a fit about ending the life of a convicted criminal.
There were two men who were scheduled to be executed in Oklahoma. The one who escaped execution had apparently murdered an 11-month old daughter of his girlfriend after raping the baby.
Is it my right to kill this man? I don’t think it is but I think the girlfriend who lost her precious daughter to this monster may have the right to say whether he lives or dies.
I wonder how many people who are against the death penalty have had their 11 month old daughter raped and murdered. I wonder also how they would feel if it had happened to them.
Personally I would be more than happy to flip the switch if it had been my daughter.
